If you get the popup "force close" while you are trying to start an app just do it....then go into "settings" and "aplications" then "running" and then go to the program and hit "force stop" and then "clear data"....this should solve your problems....
You will have to login again to the program when you restart it but clearing out the cache files etc will give it the boost you need.....have fun!
