If you follow my instructions to get the panels to go transparent you may run into a snag with the compiz etc. needing this dependency ""simple-ccsm:"
So open up the Terminal and from "root" type in "sudo apt-get install simple-ccsm:
It will pull up the garbly gook stuff as it searches for the files....once it installs you will want to type in then "sudo-apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager"
Hit enter and let it install all the files....
The problem is in order to access the Unity Config program you need all these dependencies....
Once you get it all installed including Python Config etc. which is part of this compizconfig file download you will be able to access the Unity Button via Alt_F2
Then hit "experimental" and slide the tab to transparent...Enjoy Ubuntu 11.04 cool stuff!
