The only thing that will fix the sound is to reduce the Hardware
acceleration provided by direct X for the card as bellow :
- Open control panel
- Open "Sounds and Audio Devices" - New window pops up
- Select "Audio" tab
- From "Sound Playback" drop down list select the audio card that has the problem (if more than one)
- Click on advanced - New window pops up
- Select "Performance" tab
- Reduce the "Hardware acceleration" slider one click at a time and try XBMC for distortion free playback
