Use Your Android for Internet on your Computer...Here's How!

Easy Tether.....get Easy Tether Lite from Android Market

RUN THE APP ON YOUR ANDROID, FOLLOW THE SETUP WIZARD AND TETHER YOUR ANDROID TO A COMPUTER VIA USB.

EasyTether turns your Android into a USB Internet access point for PC (both Windows 32-bit and Windows 64-bit , Mac OS X 10.6/10.5/10.4, Ubuntu 10.4 +).

Does not require root access.  (sos you can run it from an SD card if you are one of those who boots to Android from the SD...pretty cool stuff....)

Works without special tethering plans.

Supports HTC EVO, LG Ally, Moto DROID, Droid X, Milestone, Nexus One, HTC Hero, HTC Desire, HTC Dream, MyTouch, T-Mobile G1 and other Android 1.5+ devices.

Technically speaking, EasyTether is a normal NAT application. It implements the entire NAT mechanics in Java.

You can tether PS3, XBox and even Wii using EasyTether and Windows ICS (Internet Connection Sharing).
How to tether PS3/XBox/Wii:
   1. Enable ICS in the Sharing tab of the EasyTether network adapter properties (on your Windows machine).
   2. Connect Wii/PS3/XBox to your PC using an Ethernet cable.
   3. Enable UDP passthrough in EasyTether on your smartphone.
   4. Enable EasyTether connection on your PC.

E-mail any questions to support@mobile-stream.com

THEN download the program files for your computer to link the phone and the computer together  HERE

Voice Search with Google Chrome

Talk to your search engine and get results!
Here's how:

Voice Search comes pre-loaded with the following default
services: Google, Wikipedia, YouTube, Bing, Yahoo,
DuckDuckGo and Wolfram|Alpha. You can also add your own user-defined
search engines. It also integrates a speech input button for
all websites using HTML5 search boxes, all of the default
search engines' websites, Facebook, Twitter, reddit, and GitHub.

This extension requires a microphone. Speech input is very
experimental, so don't be surprised if it doesn't work.
Also, try to speak clearly for best speech recognition results.

You may need to launch Chrome with the --enable-speech-input flag.
To do this on Windows, right click on your Google
Chrome icon (shift+right click while Chrome is closed for
Windows 7 if you have it pinned to the task bar), and set
the target field to the following value:
%LocalAppData%\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe --enable-speech-input

Have you been hacked?

The first place to check for it is this....if you are now going through a "proxy" server to get to the internet....here's how...For IE, go to Tools, then Internet Options. Click on the Connections tab and choose LAN Settings.

If the Proxy Server box is checked and it has a local IP address with a port number, then that means you’re going through a local server first before it reaches the web server. This means that any web site you visit first goes through another server running some kind of software that either blocks the address or simply logs it.

Make sure to untick the proxy server and retick automatically detect settings to get it back to direct link....close IE and restart....
this is the FIRST step to getting on the Hack Attack!
