Linksys Router Setup Info-How to

If you have a linksys wireless router here is the easy way ....
You don't need to install the software that comes with it...here is how to do it...

Once you get the modem up and running then plug in the router- with power plug....wait till all lights come on and are blinking...

then open up your browser window- type in the address bar "192.168.1.1" and hit enter...put in "admin" and "admin" which is the default entry to get into the router...
then go into basic wireless settings and set your SSID name (whatever you want to call it), wireless security and set it to WPA Personal- TKIP and put in your password....save settings....viola..you are internet secure.
