What is a Terabyte?

Anaylitical term:  A Terabyte is 1,099,511,627,776 bytes (2 to the 40th power)

Basic:  1000 Gigabytes

Most older hard drives contain about 40 to 80 Gigabytes.....then on up into the 100's as time has gone on...160-200-320-500 Gigabytes etc etc...

Now the Tera's are here!
Most have two platters inside spinning at a rate of 7200 spins per minute...whew...imagine that!
