View Power Point Presentations without MS Office

PowerPoint Viewer lets you view full-featured presentations created in the full version of PowerPoint. This viewer also supports opening password-protected PowerPoint presentations. It is the free, official release from Microsoft and is ideal if you simply want to open or print presentations without having to purchase Microsoft PowerPoint. PowerPoint Viewer is compatible with most versions of PowerPoint - as far back as the 97 release.

An important limitation to remember is that this is the PowerPoint Viewer only: it cannot edit data, or create a new presentation (for those functions, you will need to purchase the full version). This download, released in 2008, is a replacement for all previous PowerPoint releases and views all files created with any of the following:

Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003

Microsoft PowerPoint 2002
